Students work on individual and group projects in this workshop. Completed projects (e.g. saw-horses, wooden mallets, toolboxes) remain at school for use in other classes or in the workshop. Year 12 work on a community project with the local council, with assistance from senior men from the community with carpentry experience.
Hi Daniel, We have no more than 23 boys in any one class, and we only have 1 class in the workshop at a time. If there are 2 Construction Classes timetabled on at the same time, one class will be in the workshop and the other doing theory work in the classroom.
Hi Andreas, for one practical class, we have the Construction teacher and an assistant. If it's a theory class, just the construction teacher takes the class.
Hi! How many students are working and learning at the same time in your workshop?
