If the workstation involves a PLC they´ll have to top  the physical wiring of with some programming, again following the task manual seen under the pliers. An important tutoring job is to make the students awere of what knowledge they can transfer from one workstation to the next. As the course progresses there should less and less new elements to every workstation. If I´m doing it right that is...

  1. Hi Martin, do the students also do other aspects such as installation of wiring systems, learning about DC, Electromagnetism, AC and AC machines? When the students complete the course are they qualified electricians or do they have do further training to be qualified? Are electricians licensed in Sweden? In Australia electricians must apply for a license at the end of their four year apprenticeship. The license allows them to work in various industry sectors and is especially required for installing wiring systems in domestic and commercial situations.

  2. The students pictured are at a technical collage not aiming them to be electricians as such. They do have courses in all of the arias you asked about but aimed to prep them for either a maintenance job of just to give them a practical knowledge of electric work before entering higher education. Electricians are indeed licensed in Sweden. Hwen they, after three years of study, leave the school they need to work an additional three years before thy can get their basic licence. You then work under a person with an advanced licence. To get that licence you need to go back to school for a year. Only one person at a company needs to have this licence, the others work under that licence(provided thy do have the basic one).
