Do carpenters drill holes for electricians through walls or frames? Here in Australia the electricians are responsible for drilling their own holes for cables and fixtures
Hi there Stephen.. Ok , here in Sweden its the carpenters responsibility, because its not allways the electrician is on place. They just fix cables and installation, only some holes in the roof for spotlights..
If it was that way in Australia the electricians would be waiting on the other trades a lot of the time. One exception is that tilers normally make the holes for the electricians, and the cabinetmaker also cuts the holes when making cabinets. Do the electricians install the meter board as well?

DeleteIt´s look like its a really good assignment/task for the student, it´s really contains many different occupational specializations.
ReplyDeleteyes, the pupils have to know, that being a carpenter means knowing a lot about everything within construction-working.
