Hi ! My name is Daniel Hellstrom from south of Sweden . I used to work as a carpenter, but began since three years ago as a instructor here at Parkgymnasiet located in a town called Ystad. I teach first year students , building and construction programme .
Hi Steve, what is the age range of the students in your classes? How many students would you have in any one class? What qualification do they achieve after completing your course?
ReplyDeleteHi Catherine, is this question for myself, Stephen Reeves, as you have posted it in Daniel's area of the blog, not my area? Our students are apprentices, typically 18+, except for pre-vocational where some students would be under 18. We only have a maximum of 14 students for a standard class, though have exceeded that number in special circumstances. When they finished they are recognised as electrical fitter-mechanics under Queensland licensing and they complete a Certificate III in Electrotechnology

DeleteThe age range of our studentes is 15-18 years. We are two teachers for 34 students. We teach then mostly practicly in their first year. Nextcoming two years the students do work based learning , in year two, two days a week, and three days in their last year . The work based learning is related to the students choice of trade orientation
